Is my data private and secure during a Sage to QuickBooks conversion?

Yes. Your Sage data is handled as confidential information throughout the conversion, with access restricted to the engineers working on your file.

Yes. Your Sage company data is treated as confidential throughout the entire conversion process, and access is limited to the engineers actively working on your file.

How we handle your data

When you send us a Sage backup or company file for conversion to QuickBooks, it goes directly to our engineering team – the same people who perform the actual data extraction and rebuild. We do not post your file to shared cloud drives, public folders, or third-party portals. The file stays within our controlled environment from the moment we receive it until we deliver the converted QuickBooks file back to you.

What we do with it

We open your Sage data to read its structure – charts of accounts, customer and vendor lists, employees, inventory items, transaction history, and balances – and then map and rebuild that data into a QuickBooks company file format. We need to see the contents to do the work, but we treat everything inside the file as confidential business information. We are not reviewing your books for compliance, audit, or tax purposes; we are reading data structures so we can convert them accurately.

What we do not do

We do not share, sell, or distribute customer data. We do not retain your file indefinitely after the conversion is complete. If you ask us to delete your file after the work is done, we will. If you want confirmation that a file has been removed from our systems, ask and we will provide it.

Practical steps you can take

If confidentiality is a concern, there are a few things worth noting before you send a file:

What to do next

The simplest way to move forward is to send us your Sage file for a free evaluation. We will assess the conversion scope – what carries over cleanly, what needs manual attention, and what the finished QuickBooks file will look like – and you can decide from there whether to proceed. There is no obligation, and you retain your original data at every step.
