How do I get a quote to convert my Sage file to QuickBooks?

Send us your Sage file or file details and our engineers will evaluate the scope free of charge, then provide a firm quote with no obligation.

You start by sending us your Sage file details so our engineers can evaluate what is in the file and scope the conversion. The quote is free, and there is no obligation to proceed until you approve it.

What we need from you

The process begins with a brief description of your current setup: which Sage product you are on (Sage 50 US, Sage 50 Canadian, Sage BusinessWorks, or Sage Intacct), the approximate file size, how many years of history you want to bring over, and the QuickBooks edition you are targeting (QuickBooks Desktop Pro, Premier, Enterprise, or QuickBooks Online). You do not need to know exact record counts or technical details — a rough picture is enough for an initial assessment.

If you can share a backup copy of the Sage file, we can give you a precise quote. If you would rather not send the file up front, a description of the file and your conversion goals is enough for a ballpark estimate, and we can refine it once you are ready to move forward.

How the evaluation works

Once we have the file or the details, our engineers examine the data structure — chart of accounts, customer and vendor lists, employees, inventory items, transaction history, payroll records, and any multi-currency or multi-company elements. Every Sage file is different, and the complexity of the conversion depends on what is in your file and how cleanly the data maps to QuickBooks. That is why we do not post flat pricing: a straightforward file with a few years of transactions is a very different project from a large file with full payroll history, inventory assemblies, and multiple divisions.

You can reach us through the contact form at sagerepair.com or through any of our affiliated service portals such as E-Tech, where our engineers handle Sage-to-QuickBooks conversions alongside file repair and downgrade work.

What happens after the quote

We send you a written quote covering the scope of work, what data will transfer, and what — if anything — may need manual attention on the QuickBooks side after conversion. If you accept, we proceed with the conversion. If you decide not to move forward, or you want to adjust the scope (for example, bringing over fewer years of history), we revise the quote. There is no charge for the evaluation itself.

Ready to start

Send us a message describing your Sage file and your QuickBooks destination, and we will get back to you with a free evaluation and quote. If you have a backup of the file ready, attaching it speeds up the process and lets us give you the most accurate number.
